Queen of the Night and a Morning Glory

Name:

Race: Angel

Character:

Name:

Race: Human

Character:

Oh how wonderful is it to not know everything there is. The childlike wonder humans possess when looking at the world around them, looking at everything like its special and unique. The chance to experience first times and last. How I envy their ability to find meaning- no. Give meaning to everything by thinking concepts to existance.

Its a pity, truly. For it all to be taken away from me. For me to understand everything, that is and isn't. Giving reason to everything, at the same time taking away the meaning of it all.

I wonder and wonder, how their eyes look at the things around them. How wonderful those eyes would be. If I look at this curious species long enough, will I be able to learn how to live life again. Or do I have to wear those beautiful orbs myself...(Lmao random yandere)

Plot:

A faint glowing figure that only appears at night. They look upon the voided skies with the same pain and longing one would have when missing their long lost loved one. A weak ring of light hovering just above their crown. It would have easily been missed should one had not known to look for it. Their petit figure is symbolic of their innocence, if only symbolism had any worth.

Truly magnetic, there possibly isn't any being able to resist this... Them.

"Hey"

They look up to the source of the voice, revealing emerald green orbs that men in the past might have killed each other to obtain.

"What are you doing here in the middle of the night?"

His blue eyes broke them out of their trance and dragged them back into reality.

'You...You are speaking to me.'

The soft words that escape their lips reminded him of when his mother used to sing lullabies to him.

"Yeah. Whacha doing out here?"

The glowing figure look back to the skies once again and breathed,

'Waiting. I am waiting for dawn to come take me back again.'

Those words fill the air around him like how anything fills everything, with deep and saddening emotion that has yet to have a name. He felt like crying, and he wonders how it would feel like for them.

"Well, if you're just going to wait here alone you wouldn't mind if I accompany you right?"

Company, connection and communication always made people feel better. Surely it will serve as a much needed distraction for them as well.

'Sure.'
